The General Dynamics f16 jets is a single-engine multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics for the United States Air Force (USAF). Designed as an air superiority day fighter, it evolved into a successful all-weather multirole aircraft. It is one of the only top jet fighters in the world to also be cost efficient. This light fighter jet is fast and extremely agile, and it remains the most popular aircraft in modern military duty, with almost 2,700 in service around twenty-six countries out of a total production of 4,500. Needless to say, the 1980s' cutting-edge fourth-generation fighter will be with us for a long time.

Why does every fighter aircraft fanboy and fangirl love the F-16? "Cause it's like a scooter with about 30K pounds of thrust that can climb like WTF and turn on a dime. Compared to other Gen 4 fighters, the F-16 is tiny, but as capable. In everybody's fantasy world it's like you could have one in your driveway.

Ok who's with me here....I can't figure out what was wrong with simply calling this plane General Dynamics F-16 "The Falcon" as it was originally years ago and then suddenly it had to be the "FIghting Falcon" like it was a College Football Team from Indiana. THE FALCON sounds cool the Fighting Falcon is really redundant because yes this plane fights stuff...we already know that because its a fighter jet. Shaking my head at naming conventions these days
