Robert Jeffress - Squabbling Over The Sabbath - Pathway To Victory

Hi, I'm Robert Jeffress, and welcome again to Pathway to Victory. For thousands of years, the sabbath has been considered a holy day. Up until recently, there were even laws that prohibited the buying and selling of certain items on Sunday. But does God really expect us to keep the sabbath in our modern day? Or, is honoring the sabbath just another way of being legalistic? Today, I want to challenge you to look beyond the letter of the law and see the principle behind it. My message is titled "Squabbling Over the Sabbath", on today's edition of Pathway to Victory.

Robert James Jeffress Jr. (born November 29, 1955) is an American Southern Baptist pastor, author, radio host, and televangelist. He is the senior pastor of the 14,000-member First Baptist Church, a megachurch in Dallas, Texas and is a Fox News Contributor. His sermons are broadcast on the television and radio program Pathway to Victory, which is broadcast on more than 1,200 television stations in the United States and 28 other countries, and is heard on 900 stations and broadcast live in 195 countries. He describes himself as "Trump's Apostle", and the majority of his national television appearances are political in nature rather than religious.

Pastor is right, six days you shall labor and rest on the 7th day shabbat. Sunday is the first day and a work day of the six. Shabbat is from sun down Friday to sun down Saturday. Sunday was a change of times and laws of God by man... where have I heard that before 🤔 not to mention the times and laws were changed by Rome to false Sun God worship, ,,, I'm sticking with God and not man. I'll work on Sunday and shabbat on God's day not man's 🙏 shalom yall....
