My mother in law, Betty Jean Simmons of Marion, Ohio. adored this book and movie. She was laid to rest nine years ago today and YouTube just randomly set up and started this movie. 🎥 So, rest in peace, Mom and thanks for having such great taste in films!!

No one can top Olivier and Fontaine in my book! The music, the photography, the acting all fit together, like a hand in a glove, and produced a stunning atmosphere of tantalizing mystery and innocent, transforming romance like no other movie I’ve ever seen! Great job, Hitchcock!!!❤🎉🎉🎉

One of my favorite movies of all time was "Suspicion" directed by Alfred Hitchcock - starring Cary Grant, Joan Fontaine and Nigel Bruce. However, my love of the movies which I discovered on Million Dollar Movie when I was either 12 or 13 - I totally fell in love with Cary Grant - anytime the movie came up and it came up there a lot - I watched it over and over and over again. I could recite lines of various actors in the movie. I followed his marriages, saw all his movies, most more than once. Some I saw several times each - nothing compared to "Suspicion".I really never follow careers of actors or actresses - also after grade school, rarely went to movies. I can't remember one movie I saw attending college.

The two greatest Hitchcock films in my book: Rebecca and The 39 Steps. Olivier and Donat as leading men, just INCREDIBLE! Where have these leading men gone?

Despite my great admiration of Hitchcock's work, this was the first time I ever saw this movie, and in its quiet way, it was as stunning as Psycho was 20 years later. I trust Mr. and Mrs. deWinter lived happily ever after, and Jasper too.

Joan Fountaine did a wonderful job in portraying this innocent young bride who married to the man she loved and all the mysteries that came in to her life. And of course, Hitchcock was the great maestro successfully orchestrated this suspenseful classic movie.
