Another way to get glue is from the wind shrine if u have like hotshot to grandmaster goo badge u can donate like 5 gumdrops and get 5 glue and more and i think u can do this every hour so id play 20hrs a day 55 glue a day (5 from glue dispenser)

if you donate enough gumdrops to the wind shrine, then you can get glue, so far ive gotten 5 from 40 gum drops

I'm pretty sure stump field leaves can drop glue, as they drop gumdrops. They can also drop magic beans :)

I have gotten 10 glues from a candy planter in the pineapple field but I think its more common in the stump field and also leaves in the stump can also give glue

Every three candy planters in the stump field reward exactly 10 glue, so you were pretty spot on.
