I just got put into LPQ for reasons beyond my control. The old router at the place I'm renting causes packet loss which causes me to lag for several seconds. I die from the lag and people report me thinking I'm feeding the other team. I just hope it doesn't snowball into something like this.

Exactly, the fact that you feel the need to use mute, just shows the extent of which you have been playing at low skill lvl matchmaking pool. Nobody use mute in the lvl20 - lvl 30 pool. You are missing out all the fun part of the game like team work and

start steam open dota 2, tab out and exit the complete process of steam and then tab in dota 2

then you will find low priority for years .

Go to your Library, press left click on your Dota 2 and choose "' Properties '' , and choose '' set Launch options '' then write in it '' -console '' . Open dota 2 and console will show up write in it '' cl_retire_low_priority_lights 1 '' . I think that will fix it .

Ps : After you do that return default by writing in the console '' cl_retire_low_priority_lights 0 ''

Let me tell you something guys. having low priorty is actually normal. the reason to this is beucase you can actually still play the game... and instead its very hard to get loot from after match. so rather go dota trades.com and get the item you want :)
