This business model is so smart. Advertisements are so prominent and good at making money nowadays that they can literally make a multi-billion dollar business. The only thing I’m mad about: Shell bought it. I absolutely despise Shell, especially for what they did in Nigeria. I hope that somehow they “un-buy” the company.

Gas stations actually make very little profit off of gas. All their sales come from inside store sales. This is only going to further increase profits, not just help them survive.

EV drivers aren't looking at ads, they're watching Netflix in their car while they wait

I'm pretty sure people will just hook up their car go drink a coffee and never see the ads. Only solution against that would be to quiz them on the content of those ads. I don't think the high value EV owners will commit their valuable time to watching those ads and answering, they would then rather pay at another charging station and use the time productively or recreational.
I could of course be totally wrong, but that's what I think.

The EV Fad is about to go off a Cliff. The Resources Necessary to Make a Single All-Electric EV costs More than the Couple of Million Miles that a Well-Cared-For Toyota does, Gasoline and all. That is only counting the Cost of Manufacturing the EV, not the Exorbitant Costs for Upkeep, Maintenance, and the Hyper-Expensive Charging Network.

Gas companies won't die, or even dwindle. Environmental friendly so called energy sources cannot create enough energy to replace oil and coal industries. The energy required is just way too much.

They wont ever die, porsche just found a way to make synthetic gas using the co2 and ocean water, top it off it produces less emissions than an ev does when charging.
