Never knew there was a windmill in Brixton. Used to live off Lavender Hill many years ago.

As a resident of Burgh le Marsh Lincolnshire and former assistant webmaster I was disappointed that although Lincolnshire was mentioned in regard to the 1965 renovations Hansons Mill Burgh le Marsh was not specified as supplying the milling equipment. I was contacted several years ago by someone at the Brixton Mill to confirm this fact.
Hansons Mill has been a private residence for many years now.

I don’t like windmills they are a waste of bloody space, I think they should be demolished and used for firewood
