So exclusive breastfeeding means you are giving only mother's milk to the baby that is the direct breastfeeding or the expressed breast milk and this is advisable. The direct breast feeding is advisable and in 6 months of age and you not giving any other liquid to the baby, be glucose water or formula milk or other animal milk. And we always recommend exclusive breast feeding to babies and this can be achieved by feeding the baby frequently and helping the baby latch properly right from the first breastfeeding session by a mother eating healthy and tasty foods and focusing more on her personal health also. Exclusive breastfeeding of course cannot be done in situations where mother's milk is not sufficient and baby need top up to be given and as the physician decides.
