When you see how many times Hale is willing to run Caleb through this loop you realize the foreboding nature of AI and its potential in our future for harm. How are we to compete with an entity that is on an infinite timeline compared to ours? It requires no patience to complete tasks and is unperturbed by failure. Hale simply introduces a new set of parameters and re-runs the loop until the outcome is produced. Her methodical machine-like nature will be a formidable advisory if we encounter the same in our future.

The memories with Caleb and his daughter looks a lot like, when Maeve was walking with her daughter in the park long ago.

I will say that I found the ‘fight’ between Frankie & Jay underwhelming. It didn’t seem to rise to its potential, but Maeve saving that scene was fabulous.

The park was from this season. The 1920s one.

I will admit to thinking this season was going to be a disappointment after the first couple of episodes, but in retrospect, I'm just blown away by how good it is. This season is an amazing accomplishment. My only major concern is that Hale is a mustache twirler that speaks like a cartoon villain. I think her character's writing has suffered tremendously this season. Still, it's not enough to ruin the whole thing for me. So glad Westworld is blowing my mind again!

I would love the twist that Caleb is also in Cryo, she is copying his mind from the original and trying to successfully replicate him much like MIB has been but so far being unsuccessful.

It’s interesting that Hale, not a human, is so bothered by the lack of popularity from her captive masses. Caleb’s comment at the end would bother a narcissist, a control freak, but for it to start to undermine a machine, who is now self mutilating, is an interesting bit of writing.
Love this show.

I can't help but think hale is being played herself. The scene where clementine says she "prefers to be with the sheep" to me implies maybe she wasn't rewritten as much as we believe.

I have another stupid question:
There was only Maeve's body when they dug up her, but she was buried with mib together. That means Hale got him first and decided to leave Maeve? Doesn't seem very logical considering she knows how Maeve is special and important

I'm kinda' confused as to who finished putting Maeve together. If Bernard is strapped to a chair and her brain was still hidden in that piano, where Bernard put it when the group arrived, who finished putting her together????

I have watched every episode of Westworld with great interest and noticed that in every season, it starts slowly and gets interesting after 5-6 episodes...

Does Chalores seeing the tower at the end mean that her interactions with Caleb(an outlier) are starting to affect her? Or could she always see it? Being as she's the one who made it 😂

Looks like she's starting to love and/or admire Caleb.

I believe Teddy was referring to Halores as who created the new world. Her pearl was responsible for the madness. Her pearl that lost control.

Excellent episode with great twists. So everyone is a host and you don't know who to trust. LoL

How Caleb knows about infection or hosts killing themselves? Don't recall her telling him that.

How remarkable was Aaron Paul's performance in this episode?

I think its the emerging Christina - Delores being the the original outlier, thats the issue with the hosts. Hale/Dolores mix was unstable from the outset - that instability would be in everything she has implemented. There is alot they have to get into the last two episodes ( havent really figured out what needs destroying - we dont know how big host population is - why they wanted to keep so many humans alive?)- I found episode 6 really drawn out and felt they could of got more story into this weeks episode (most of episodes )- was really wanting to see more Christina and Teddy storyline - and why he is there? Its all abit biblical - like who is going to be the sacrifice to get humanity back to free will?
