I prefer to think of SCP-001 as something that doesn't actually exist. It's just there to motivate people to work hard and climb the ranks of the foundation so that they can find out what SCP-001 is. This ensures that the foundation has plenty of qualified people to choose to be O5's. I like this idea better than other ideas that make SCP-001 some huge apocalyptic scenario or the SCP that created every single SCP.

So… there are 5K+ SCP entries now right? … I’m not doing any math but that would take 10 years to get through all of them and even then by the time you got through 5K you would have another 5K to cover. One a day may not be Dm fast enough to ever get done
