Really want Sony smartphone cameras to be good but what's the point of recording a smooth steady footage when most of the time is blurry

apple sure needs to come out with an fix update for the iPhone 7 camera.. the colours is not stable compared to xz lol

Considering 4K uses a large part of the sensor, the XZ remained stable enough to show the scenario clearly. Blurriness is just the cost of that amazing stabilization. Keep it at 1080p and the XZ will look even more stunning than it is at 4K. iPhone has a little bit better quality, but not worth it for how shaky it is. I guess 4K of smartphones is really just meant for cinnematic footages which uses tripods or stabilizers. 1080p is the best resolution for stability

hmm...I'm getting the XZ but the blurriness is a bit disappointing. Are there any other options or situations which this is alleviated? Is it a focus issue? How is the level of detail in a mostly static video environment?

XZ has better stabilisation but image is blurry so I prefer iPhone 7 and stabilize it in after processing

Betekt it was a nice test.But would u plz Repeat the test Shooting in1080p so that both the Phones can be in its highest OIS Forms.Bcoz in 4K i dont think so iphone even uses OIS mode & Sony only uses Standard mode & NOT Intelligent Active Mode.
