Richard's Journey with FTD (Frontal Lobe Dementia) - Episode #19 (12-31-21)

In this video Richard is enjoying a New Year’s Eve feast that I put together while we were on vacation. He has developed some major OCD recently when it comes to making a plate of food. Everything has a place and if he has a few thing already on his plate, he doesn’t want to have too many choices and will just eat that food first and then come back for the other stuff later. In the past he used to just pile his plate with food and it didn’t matter if it touched because it was all going to the same place.

Richard Pontious and I started making these videos to document his journey with FTD and to help bring awareness to how Frontal Lobe Dementia may impact a person's life. It has been four years since he was diagnosed and he loves to share how it impacts his life so it might help someone else out there dealing with the same thing or caring for a loved one. As usual he did a great job! He is such an inspiration with his positive attitude.
