The Tuttles with AJ Lee at Redwood Bluegrass Associates (RBA) 20th season concert, Oct. 2010. This was a CD release party for the band and we thank everyone who showed up when they could have been watchin the San Francisco Giants taking the World Series. Thanks to Dan Booth from Kathy Kallick's band for playing upright bass for the group that evening.

If this rendition doesn't reach the depth of your Soul then you don't have one.

Gram Parsons was a national treasure. He was gone far too early. He would have loved this version and its two young future stars.

I keep coming back to this - AJ and Molly so fresh and alive.

This is the first time AJ sang this in public! I absolutely love the way she renders it with no frills -- just letting the song sing itself through her! I wish Gram could have heard this version.

Aj and family, I had never heard of you. I live in Mexico, so that's part of the reason. I be loved gram, for 40 years, now. I love your music also.

Twelve and sixteen when this video was uploaded in 2010, AJ and Molly are 25 and 29 in 2022, and both are award winning musicians. Both are now miles beyond where they were as kids. This video shows why there was never any doubt what their destiny would be!

Perfection from this uber-promising young lady. A natural she is!

Oh, of Gram had stayed clean and lived out his life it is unsurmountable what he could have accomplished. What a wonderful talent!

So many singers who have sung for decades never are able to sing from down deep in their sole. Here we have a child that reaches for that understanding.

You know that expression, "the voice of an angel"? Well, in this instance it isn't an expression, this is the LITERAL voice of an angel.

With all that's wrong in the world, and no matter how hard life gets, I come here and listen to this and my heart glows...

Fast forward 8 years,  Molly Tuttle becomes a household name in the bluegrass community. I wonder why she doesn't use one of her many groups to do a version of this song in her solo voice?

I would love to hear AJ Lee sing more from Gram Parsons. Songs like "She", "Brass Buttons", "$1000 Wedding", or "A Song for You" would suit her voice.

I like the notes sung in sustain, without trills and frills

I swear AJ tears up a little on the second verse, you can see it in the corner of her eye. That woman has a magical voice
