POOL WATER TEST - PoolLAB 1.0

To measure, turn the device on with the middle button and draw pool water. Please note, before each measurement we have to calibrate the pool water with the ZERO button. Once the water is ready for measurement, we can dose the tablets.

We start with the PH measurement. We use a tablet labeled Phenol Red and insert it into the device. Carefully dissolve and mix the tablet. Then close the cap and press the pH button. Wait 15 seconds for the result.

The next measurement will be the free chlorine value. For this we will use the tablets marked DPD No. 1. Remember to wash the instrument and calibrate the water before taking the measurement. Mix the tablet and press the button marked fcl. After 15 seconds, the instrument will display the measured value.

Repeat the procedure for all measurements, but always choose the appropriate tablet. To demonstrate, we will measure cyanuric acid. This is measured using the button marked CYA. The correct value is in the range 0-160mg/l.

Finally, we will look at measuring the alkalinity of the water. Rinse the test tube, draw and calibrate the water and then stir the tablet. Start the measurement with the button marked TA. The measurement will take 25 seconds.

Once the measurement is complete, wash and dry the instrument thoroughly.
