Fun fact: In Monster Hunter you can sever Deviljho's tail, allowing you to harvest materials from it. For over a decade though, the Monster Hunter community, myself included, believed that the Deviljho would actually eat its own tail once cut off. This was recently discovered to be a case of the Mandela effect as no evidence of it doing so actually exists!

One of the brute wyverns that got me into monster Hunter was Brachydios, a brute wyvern coated in an obsidian shell evolved to withstand powerful blows from hunters, monsters and the explosives of the explosive slime it has a symbiotic relationship with. From a young age they are given minimal protection from their parents, sort of scavenging the slime they need to survive, unfortunately since they are still young and developing some of the babies die from the slime. But the Beachydios that grow up to become adults become forces to be reckoned with, very few can match up to these brutes. Also they also developed big stubs? On their arms that they use to punch and due to their lighter build compared to the other brute wyverns they are surprisingly agile. TLDR Brachydios is an awesome animal.
