Interesting. Didn't see much about its capability of omni color engraving metal at 4:47. Could you share more about this?

Great information and thanks for the UV library. One question, what power of UV are those settings for?

I'd love to see a video on the Omni 1 and the rotary tool. I'm struggling with it!

I'm probably going to get both a fiber and an UV in the upcoming roadmap, but the dilemma is moreso on what door to open first in my startup!
But looking at this, and from a bit of research I've done, I think UV generally befits me more. I'm a pretty generalistic company that serves mostly to a community of artists (whom want to focus on art and dealership, and not necessarily the intricasies of materials and execution, which I tend to be good at) and UV seems like it befits most to their needs. The caveat is that I've worked and learned with fibre lasers before and not UV, but I'm sure I can pick it up (if its even hard to learn at all)!

I assume this works well for PETG and PLA too? Considering the heat limitations of such materials, with UV I could probably make some sick shit with some smart design and material combinations, and do it efficiently instead of going in "workaround-mode" XD.

Thanks for the video!

Totally get it. Just received my omni. I am glad the shipping is fast so I can get start on testing. So far I have tried most stuff to it and it works great. I even engraved nuts. I heard they have 10w omni now and I wonder how it performs on metal with higher power.

Does this have a software such as x tool, creative space? I'm asking because I don't know how to use lightburn. Thanks great video!

how did you manage to cut clear acrylic (Christmas tree)? I tried with numerous settings and nothing worked. Can you, please, share your settings so that I can try with something similar?

Does this laser engrave glass with enough depth to use a stencil and colorfill with a high quality spray paint? I was doing this for sandblasting glass but I am interested in the Commarker as the many options for different materials.

Looks cool - the speed that new laser machines are coming out these days is making me dizzy 😂 Cheers.

Although this laser is using photo chemical ablation, it is still very possible to create thermal effects if the energy isn't distributed fast enough. This is usually only a problem when you set the scanning speed to slow and also slow down the pulse frequency, while repeating the passes in small marking zone.

I'm having trouble cutting 3mm glitter acrylic on my Omni 1. No matter what settings I try in Lightburn, it sparks excessively and produces a lot of smoke. Can you offer any advice on how to successfully cut this material ? I understand the limitations, but I was hoping for better results. While CO2 lasers are still excellent for cutting acrylic, I'm exploring other options. Thank you

Thanks for the video! Would you know if the UV laser MORE/SAME or LESS dangerous than Blue Light or Fiber?
ALSO: I'm so spoiled by XTool Material Library, How would you know the settings for materials with the Commarker Omni? Thanks!

But ouch that base price. Especially for someone just starting. What size is the work space and depth?

How do you know you're not being lied to when they say it can do a higher resolution than others? I think it's worse simply because it needs that stupid green plate so you can see the spot. Others don't need it either.
