I work in the company which owns more than 100 of these trucks. They are not great. Constant electric problems, gearbox sometimes doesn't want to shift, problems with StoneRidge tachographs ect.. Older Euro 5 mode was indestructable, this one is just like Renault or Iveco...

How does this compare to the scania? i only been able to drive scanias but the MAN looks fantastic.
has anyone here driven both trucks and can say something of which is ¨better¨

Nice trucks strange colour but it grows on u it would look great as a base colour with chrome silver writing and logos . I think anyway . Mines is metallic green a tag axle 580 ho . Great truck . . It's due for rental next year I'm huge so new one will hopefully be as great its a 640 I. Getting next .

Been driving these for 2 years now and they are the biggest let down ever. 2024 but MAN still can make the dashboard flat. A vacuum cleaner is more silent than the night heater. Windows won't go up or down when key is not in the ignition. Gears are slower than my grandma. Electronic parking break is shit and there is like 5 hours delay between you putting your foot on the pedal and the truck actually moving off. I'm thinking of changing my job just to get rid of driving these. Oh and I forgot it also got the aerodynamicks of a fucking brick

always liked a cabover and thus cool, Kenworth builds an awesome cabover they have in Australia, but what an improvement would be put manual transmission in them.
