How Do Azure Standard Deliveries Work?

I learned about this co. & y'all drops from Homstead Heart. I'm looking forward to purchasing a lot of food from y'all. I never thought y'all had a drop near me until I watched Homestead Hearts' video this morning & checked.

If I'm a new customer is it recommended to contact the coordinator of the drop location I'll be using? Or just order and show up on the delivery date?

I have to say….it’s not easy to set up a drop off point. The closest one to me is nearly two hours away. I found a bunch of people interested in getting one in a city near me so I got permission from the owner of the lot and contacted Azure. They denied the location but never contacted me to let me know. I found out by continuing to follow-up. They said the location was too far off course. Okay, I understand that so I asked what the course is so I could find a better location that works for everyone. I was told they don’t know. So, I asked if someone else knew or if someone could help find a good drop location in the area to which I was told, no. I asked if I just have to keep guessing locations until I happen upon the right one and she said that’s basically what I need to do, that nobody at Azure could help with this. Seriously?! How do I even begin to set up a drop location if Azure can’t even tell me the course or if I am even “hot” or “cold” in my guesses?! Needless to say, there was a lot of disappointment in my area and a lot of business lost for Azure.

Just found out there is a drop 3.4 miles from my house. I guess I will have to sign up now.

Coast to coast? But I have to drive 2 1/2 hours to get to a drop. Sadness. I keep looking to buy from Azure standard but I guess small town living doesn't really benefit from these drops. Also, when on the website, I don't see a way to see if weekends are an option. Because I work full time Mon-Fri and can't just take time off to pick up feed. 😓 I wish I had a time to organize a drop near me, but sadly my work schedule won't allow it and I don't have anywhere that I know I could do it without having to pay for the space.

Membership may be free but still have to pay shipping AND drive way over there to help unload the truck just so I can get my order. I have COPD and can barely unload my own local groceries from store to car and from car into my home. I'm on a fixed income on SSI with EBT and that's not acceptable payment with Azure. Sorry, no can do! Direct ship to my home costs more than the product I want to order, so that's out as well.

Solid information but no mention of delivering on holidays. I think this should be avoided.
