Arike plays like this every game.she scored 40 pts 1st game against Mercury and she’s always 20+pts every game. She was MVP last time they beat US team. She was snubbed just like CC from US team, I guess they would rather have old Taurasi and Chelshea Gray that’s just wobbling around court, can’t even run. Like you said CC is reason why all these other stars will be known now just makes you wonder how many fans world wide will miss out watching US team because CC is not there. Alisha Gray (ATL) was killing it too, she won 3pt and skill challenge. She’s great player but like Dallas, Atlanta is underrated. Few more to consider: Ariel Atkinson, Bridget Carleton, Natasha Could, Aaliyah Edward’s, Emily Engstler, Leonie Fiebich, Natasha Hiedeman, Rickey Jackson, Jacky Sheldon, Alanna Smith, Azura Steens, Sevgi Uzun, Julie Vanloo… CC effect is real and brings shine on all !

Arike is the second highest scorer in the league. She was snubbed four years ago from the Olympic team and withdrew this year because of politic (see her interview on Youtube). Arike (Dallas) just played Indiana (their last game). The Olympic team refused to integrate youth and it showed at the All Stars. Congrats to Cheryl Miller!!

Arike is actually secure in who she is and her game so she isn’t super bitter towards the young players. Arike doesn’t get the attention she deserves either so she gets it.

I had never heard of Arike Ogunbowal until Fever played the Wings in the game Clark blew up in, and broke the assists record, and got 24 points. Airke was the one that denied Fever the win too. She grabbed my attention on that day, She's a great player.
SIdes helped in the loss by calling one of the rare "time outs" and nullifying two points scored, that would have brought Fever within two points to tie up the game, at a pivotal moment. (SIDES MUST GO) But Arike is a natural scorer.

The USA coach - Cheryl Reeve didn’t want CC and hates her - so she didn’t take any young players. Ionescu is the youngest player on team USA I think. There is a toxic atmosphere on team USA from the head coach.

The vets on the US National team could have put her in a rear naked choke and Arike still would have made the 3 pointer. She was just unbelievable. Some days you're the windshield, some days you're the bug. The Olympic team bugs got splattered.
