Planting the Seeds of Success in Your Kids (Part 2) - Dr. Kevin Leman

Parents often have misplaced dreams for their kids – focusing on things and achievements instead of focusing on building their character. In his new book, 8 Secrets to Raising Successful Kids, Dr. Leman helps parents place emphasis on WHO their children will become instead of WHAT they become. He offers time-tested solutions for parenting that will help moms and dads plant the seeds of patience, kindness, humility, thankfulness, and respect in their children, as they prepare them for adulthood.

His strategies include starting with the end in mind, expecting the best from your children, modeling a disciplined life, minimizing friction, while optimizing solutions, and keeping the relationship first. The broadcast, recorded with a live audience, encourages parents to examine their parenting style and transform their thinking to get successful results with their kids.

I don’t know what year it was, but I remember being a kid in my parents’ house, sneaking on the radio to listen to FOF and I heard Dr. LEHMAN. 2 thoughts popped up from that: “Wow, an adult actually gets kids?!, ” and, “Boy, If my parents listened to him, our family would actually become a family.”

Thank you so much..I'm sure this will help..I felt so nostalgic hearing about you leaving your daughter to school and got so nostalgic as my father also dropped me to exam centres and that still is such a special memory in my heart..

This is wonderful! I always refer FOF and Dr Leman to my friends. I know you've helped me get through some hard times. I do have friends who are single parents. Are there any materials from either of you for this so sad to say growing population?
