Not essential for fat loss, but Pilates is really great for stability and mobility, and HITT is never a bad idea imo bc cardio is healthy and in like 15-20minutes a week you get all the benefits of it from HITT. I think her split is phenomenal overall (but I agree not all is necessary for the weightloss)

I didn't hear her mention that she does it for fat loss, or any reason in particular. Maybe she just wants to be capable of many things?

She never, not once, at least the clip you played, said she wanted to lose weight or lower her body fat. If you just assumed that on your own, that's hugely problematic. And Pilates is great for a number of things, including overall flexibility & joint mobility. Consider that she has different goals than you and that it's not your place to try to correct HER workout.
