Just purchased one of these boards $1, 500. The Q NVME storage only supports PCIE4 so if you have one of the new Samsung 9100 series nvme drives which support PCIE5 you can only use the nvme slot above where the GPU sits as the rest of the lots are PCIE 4 only.

Really nice MB. I have the z690 Maximus extreme and really love it. Still going strong for almost three years. I have an animatrix screen that I ended up turning off as it was never all that practical, but the other small screen works great. I wish it would have come with the same screen as the z890. Otherwise I think Asus does a great job with these boards.

That's a nice looking board, well out my price range, but I'd love if the new BTF boards for the AMD chips look similar to this. I have to admit, I don't see the point in the screen on the MB. I mean, we got MBs with screens, fans with screens, AIOs with screens, GPUs with screens and cases with screens, why do we need so many screens!

No display port In? How do you use the Thunderbolt port to connect to a display?

So, this mobo, same as all others for Z890, can only run 1 Gen5 SSD (but with several Gen4 too); without impacting a GPU using all 16 lanes of PCIe5.0? This is an architecture limitation, am I right?

Great looking board, but until Intel gets there head out of the clouds, and put limits on these boards, no one will buy them (especially for $1K)
We, the consumer, want and need more CPU lanes for all these M.2 slots. Putting limitations on these expensive motherboards has gotten old.
Intel either needs to bring back the X platform or expand the next Z*** motherboards to accommodate the ever-growing thirst for storage and speed, without compromise.
If folks are willing to plunk down $1K for a high-end motherboard, then Damit, it should not have "ANY" limitations to storage or GPU speed whatsoever.
