Kwanzaa is the annual celebration of African-American and Pan-African culture affirming history, values, family, and community.

Created by activist Maulana Karenga, Kwanzaa is observed December 26th through January 1st with each day has a significant meaning.

The last day is IMANI, which means FAITH.

On the final day of Kwanzaa, everyone gathers together to share a feast, which can include baked ham, roasted yams, fish, collard greens, fruits, pies, and other desserts.

This is truly a day of togetherness, love, and faith.

As the celebration of Kwanzaa comes to an end, we also celebrate the beginning of a brand-new year: HAPPY NEW YEAR!
