I’m struggling to understand how this is any different from traditional SEO? I get that search engine rankings will be diluted with chatbots providing “answers” rather than links. But won’t these answers still pull from the same keyword topics that we as marketers already try and associate with? Are we headed towards a “one answer one source to rule them all” scenario where only the tippy-top ranking sites will be rewarded by chat answers? Where does the branded vs non brand element come into play?
