Crooked believes that we need a better conversation about politics, culture, and the world around us—one that doesn’t just focus on what’s broken, but what we can do to fix it. At a time when it’s increasingly easy to feel cynical or hopeless, former Obama staffers Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor have created a place where people can have sane conversations that inform, entertain, and inspire action. In 2017 they started Crooked with Pod Save America—a no-bullshit conversation about politics. Since then, we continue to add shows, voices, and opportunities for activism, because it’s up to all of us to do our part to build a better world. That’s it. End of mission.

"Robert Wagner outed him but this might not have been the worst thing Robert Wagner ever did" THE SHADE OF IT ALL!!!

For recent ones, Steven Yeun in Burning. I can understand why an understated villain performance in a foreign-language thriller wouldn't be nominated, but man does that performance get under your skin. My favorite non-nominated supporting actor turn of the 2010s.

Trophy strife, the show for all of us who don’t want to annoy our friends with our obsession with award show injustices 😂

I most agree with Michael Stuhlbarg. He ABSOLUTELY should have been. My far the most gripping and effective scene of the year.

YES, Okada Masaki did such an amazing job in Drive My Car!! His character gave me such intense goosebumps, I was so sad when he wasn't even in the conversation for the Best Supporting Actor Race

I love these segments, Louis! I'm with you that it's unbelievable that Michael Stuhlbarg has never been nominated. One of our great character actors.

I have watched Call Me By Your Name like 10 times and that father-son scene and the ending by the fireplace always get me. Actors have been nominated for less.

Ohhh, Louis can get a piece for free with that new haircut! Now, I charge extra for lights on. We love you guys, and you are putting in some serious work lately (as before)! It really shows, and we appreciate it! Keep it up💜

How Shaw wasn’t nominated for Jaws is bewildering. He steals every scene he’s in.

Quint/Robert Shaw from Jaws was the first person I thought of when I saw this title

Some other very deserving Best Supporting Actors never even nominated are Henry Gibson for Nashville, Roddy McDowall for Fright Night, Eric Stoltz for Mask, Jeff Goldblum for The Big Chill, Dudley Moore for Foul Play, Peter Falk for The In Laws, Albert Brooks for Drive, Jerry Lewis for The King of Comedy and Charles Grodin for Midnight Run.

If i had to choose the worst snubs (as in not even nominated) in this category:

*Lew Ayres in Holiday
*Tim Holt in Treasure of Sierra Madre
*Lee J. Cobb, 12 angry men
*Joe E. Brown in Some like it hot
*John Cazale in literally anything he made, but more specifically Godfather 2
*Danny Glover in The color purple
*Dennis Hopper in Blue Velvet
*John Goodman in Barton Fink

The Academy’s treatment of Singin’ in the Rain as a whole is shameful, but Donald O’Connor’s lack of a Supporting Actor nomination is especially egregious. I also think Bill Irwin is pretty devastating as the dad in Rachel Getting Married. Donald Sutherland and Alfred Molina also have a plethora of roles they should’ve been nominated for.
