isn't example 3 supposed to be 1/3 instead of 1/4 po?

Thank for being so clear and concise with the law of exponents.



for #3 though..."4" goes into "12" three times. I think the base of the denominator should be "3" instead of "4"

Hello po. My question lang po ako. If we are going to simplify 4/12, automatic divide 4 with 4 and divide 12 with 4, yan po ba yun? Kasi pag ganun po, bakit naging 1/4? dpat 1/3 po. dba po? Or baka mali po ako sa pagsimplify?
