It's a bit cheeky of GoPro to start selling this as a separate item. The Ball Joint Buckle Mount & Low Profile Frame used to be bundled free with the HERO4 Session. Now, if you want them for the Session 5, you have to pay for them. And when added to the price of the HS5, it makes quite a difference to the total

Really good explanations!
That bad thing: In low temperatures the original-Session-Frames tend to break very easy close to the buckle. Already cracked 3 of them while skiing (without any impact) and almost lost one of my sessions.
I have replaced the standard-frame with an alloy-version now.
