I contend that this is one of the best musical movie scores of all time. Hard to say for sure which one is the best, but this one certainly deserves to be listed in the elite category.

It’s a shame that a movie like Die Hard doesn’t have an iconic/consistent theme song (like how Rambo has his theme, or Michael Myers has the Halloween theme)

It's easy to underestimate the influence the score had on Die Hard being the classic film it is today, but it's indeed an outstanding piece of work.

And I've honestly never again heard something quite like it. Very outlandish in places, but absolutely perfect!

The rooftop scene and everything that follows is a non-stop thrill ride. I mean, the whole movie is one too but this part, specifically. Die Hard for the win.
