I love harvesting my papaya leaves and making teas and capsules from them.

Papaya leaf juice has a rich content of vitamin C and A, which boost skin health and lend you a healthier and radiant skin. Papaya leaf juice suppresses the activity of free radicals. The presence of karpain compounds checks the growth of excess micro-organisms, and cleanses your skin of the toxins, providing protection against skin problems like pimples, freckles and acne.

Extracts from papaya leaf boasts of great anti-cancer properties majorly because of its compound acetogenin.

Papaya leaves are also rich in protease and amylase. These enzymes help break down proteins, carbs and minerals aiding digestion. Its high anti-inflammatory properties also reduce the inflammation of stomach and colon. The juice can also heal peptic ulcers by killing bacteria H.Pylori owing to its antimicrobial properties.

Every part of the papaya plant can be used for multiple health benefits

Like papaya, the leaf is also rich in enzymes like papain and chymopapain

Papaya leaf juice increases the platelet count

Just found your channel. Thankyou for being a real person. I have been looking for uses of papia leaves we call it paw paw in Australia. But all the channels are AI and I found that very difficult to listen to. Besides that I love that you are showing me your garden. Getting ideas for growing food in a backyard is so important these days. Love from Australia

The Evil One and his helpers has us afraid of what we should be enjoying and relishing the things that hurt us eventually. This is my third year having volunteer papaya plands grow up in my compost bin. At first I started just pulling them up when they were little. Then I though, I'll just see what would become of them if I just let them grow. Because of my zone, I feared they would just die when the cold whether came in. They did die. Next I thought I might be able to do something with the leaves but wondered about whether they may be toxic. I finally did a search and found out that they were perfectly safe. Thank you for YOUR Video. Very good info. I've dried last summer's leaves and will be using them for skin aid.

I just found your video and and I never knew about the leaves. I have 5 trees, I love the fruits. I also live in Central Florida Fruitland Park. Thanks for sharing, I have to try the leaves. I seen a video where someone cooked it. Do you know anything about that?

Thank you for a really great informative video.
We have several young papaya plants in our yard. We live in Belleair Bluffs, Florida, , which is about 25 miles south west of Tampa. We have a big problem with fruit wasps. The adults inject their eggs into young unripe papaya fruit, and the fruit spoils. People recommend putting a plastic bag over each fruit to prevent the wasps from laying eggs in the fruit. But that is difficult. I noticed that you do not put bags on your fruit. Do you have a problem with fruit wasps laying eggs in your papaya? Can you comment on how to deal with fruit wasps? Thank you.

Now subscriber here! I would like to make capsules but I am at a loss as to how large they should be and how many is safe to take daily. For entertainment purposes only of course because you aren’t a Dr. to my knowledge 😉 any suggestions would be greatly appreciated 🤍💙🤍🤍 your garden is beautiful

Also do you have any information on the benefits of hydrangea ? I know the leaves are toxic but the root is used for decalcification but that is all I know . Big up to you! Lucky you’re in Florida with the tropical weather! Do you grow Mangos and breadfruit? 🤤
