Serato Playing Backwards?! Fix For Reverse Decks In Serato DJ Pro & Lite

Is your Serato DJ Pro or Serato DJ Lite software playing backwards? Are you tearing your hair out trying to fix it? Don't worry - you've done nothing wrong - I'll show you how to fix this in our 60 second video.

Note that if you're using DVS, your fix is possibly something different, but for controller users, or users of the Serato Play Expansion Pack, this is 100% going to be your fix.

Happened to me live a couple of times on my first gigs ever, thank goodness I was able to look it up on the internet while one deck was still normal and find the Q and A button fix! I hope we can disable this reverse playing from within serato settings.

I had this issue once before with my DVS. I had borrowed a needle from a friend of mine which was a brand new still in the box, but when I used that needle on either turntable, it would play Backwards. What I came to find out is that the needle that I was given had different polarity then conventional needles. I had to reverse the wires on two of the needle plugs and then it worked fine

also on MAC a Command + click on the play Button will fix a permanent reverse on a track

@digitaldjtips ​​⁠hardware indeed, seems like a short. I figured it out Saturday night after getting frustrated and trying everything.

Realized that when I turn the headphone volume knob above 45-50 it starts (would love to show you a video of said).

So I will have to take it to the technician to change that on the circuit. It was rather strange to me all this time and even the tech that looked at it didn’t know.
