Britain Russia and US at that time were not happy with him creating OPEC and since he was a very smart leader therefore could not be tolerated by the west. One of the reasons that the world especially western countries became so jealous and did not tolerate such a leader for a country like Iran was this celebration which more than 100 leaders of all countries came to visit and get to know our ancient history and culture. Expenses was not even close to 0.05% of what Monarch Britain or some other countries are spending on their internal or external yearly or monthly expenses. Iranian people in 1971 were in complete social comfort, all Iranins were employed and we had lots of foriegn workers in Iran and our currency was at international value level being exchanged in all banks all around the world as well as our passport did not require entry visa to more than 150 countries.
