This Paris apartment is one super cool experiment! I love how Caroline and Corentin are so willing to push the boundaries and experiment with some super cool ideas. While chomping down on crickets will definitely not be everyones cup of tea, the level of success that they have had growing so much food and creating so much resource from waste in such a small apartment is absolutely inspiring! The most amazing thing about all this is finding a partner who shares your passion and wants to live this way. Some pretty amazing ideas are generated here. I also love that they have a community of people who are sharing the tasks. I wish there was a picture of what the unit they moved into looked like before they set up thier systems.

It was fun to read the comments on this one! Maybe if they were growing fish in a tank to eat, folks would have been less grossed out than with crickets. If I were in a survival situation, I’d want to be with these two smart and creative people. I think doing these kinds of things in a tiny house out in the country is more acceptable, even romantic to viewers than doing them in an apartment in the city. However most humans live in urban environments so what this couple is experimenting with is really where it’s at! Bravo!

A home that is a functioning ecosystem. I love the FUNctional gym! Modern gyms are an insane waste of energy, so it's wonderful to see these people use a rowing machine to power a washing machine. I love how natural it is for them to just ignore "normal". Too many of us fail to look beyond what we know, thinking it's the only way to live because that's how things are.

This reminds me of the biosphere 2 project from 1994. It's remarkable how this couple have taken the exact same principles plus some low tech innovations and scaled it for just a small apartment setting. Absolutely incredible.

I love that this living space is in an ‘urban’ environment as opposed to an earth ship in the middle of nowhere. We need to work out these ideas in the urban environment, because as you say, the majority of people on this planet live in an urban environment. I can also see how well these two are matched in common interests, intellect + passion for experimentation. We need all these skills/qualities to move our common evolution forward - collaboratively. Brilliant!

If steampunk had a baby with scandi aesthetic, it would be this place! I am honestly not sure I could live like that, but I'm impressed. On the one hand, I was grossed out by mushrooms in the shower, but I don't know how many times I've stopped myself from buying oyster mushrooms because they're so expensive... these guys are definitely onto something. I will never eat crickets and had to look away at that point. I'd love to have that washing machine. Thanks for such a thought-provoking video ☺
