God Bless anyone who is suffering from this, and to the parents God Bless you. Cant imagine the strength it takes to care for your child with this condition, I mean by having to see them hurting and all. I hope science and medical research finds something to help with this soon.

It was not my child, but it was an extremely close family member. I'm not giving identifying information, but we watched this beautiful toddler die by inches. It was the most heartbreaking thing anyone in my family has ever endured, and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. A part of each and every person in my family died that day.

Thank you for the explanations. I'm working in a special needs school and one of our student have juvenile leukodystrophy. It's very helpful, though I'm absolutely heartbroken for this kid, it pains me a lot to know his fate

It sound like i might be developing mld at 15 according to your diagnosis... how do i know if its mld or just a coincidence or if i just misunderstood something here or just over--exaggerating?
