Pick random name and initial from CSV in Python

This video will explain how to use Python to pick a random name from a CSV or database of names and then extract the initial of that name using index numbers. For example Jane would become J.

This is useful if you want to write automated messages to people to use their initial rather than full name.

This skill can be applied to other CSVs related problems too.

On your Open email attachments in Excel for iPad you have the comments turned off but in that vid you have students send you work and open and download. My file is in Excel but my options do not have Excel so is there any way I can add to the options as I can’t open this excel file.
