Can you please elaborate on which side of the bay you choose according to wind direction and tidal movement? Do you fish the side that wind is coming from? I understand that when it’s real windy it’s better to fish the windward side because you’re more protected, but i’ve heard people say the wind can push the bait to the other side and that’s where you want to fish. I’m really confused by this

So do you want to fish the shore line in which the wind is blowing towards or what. I believe that's my issue.

Really enjoyed this video. I will probably watch it ten or fifteen times just to absorb all of the useful info. I would love to see more videos like this because I am trying to teach myself to be better at wade fishing for trout. It is my personal goal to try and break my pb by the end of next year. Thx for the useful information keep it up!!

Great info, but what if you don't have a boat? Is there anything in particular to look for when scouting out new trout locations when you are either walking the shoreline or are near a road? Thanks in advance.

Capt Caleb. Im so happy to have found your channel. We have friends in gorda and are down allot. I appreciate the detail you go into such as what to look for on the water, planning the tide and wind and just reading the bay. You make it easy to understand. Great visual detail in the camera shots. Just wanted to say thanks for the time you put into it. You're covering more in the vids about actually going out and fishing and im learning a ton.

Question, you talk a lot about fishing in the fall on low and high tides which is great info. I fish over here in west and east bay in Galveston. What are some pointers for summer fishing for trout or redfish?

Thanks

Another great video. Always nice to hear different perspectives from different captains. It’s still a bunch to take in so I’ll have to watch it a few times. I’ve always fished live shrimp under a cork so there’s quite a curve going with artificials.
