CSS full form is cascading style sheet. It is used to design web pages written in HTML.
CSS transitions allows you to change property values smoothly, over a given duration
To create a transition effect, you must specify two things:
1. the CSS property you want to add an effect to
2. the duration of the effect
Examples:
- increase width smoothly in 2 seconds
- add multiple properties to transition
- transition-timing-function property
- transition-delay
