Pelicans select Aussie Dyson Daniels with the No.8 draft pick

The New Orleans Pelicans selected Dyson Daniels with the 8th overall draft pick Thursday night. Daniels, the 19-year-old from Australia, played for the G-League Ignite last year. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 11.3 points and 5.1 assists per game, along with 7.1 rebounds and 2 steals per game.
