The story of that part:
It's dark. Adrien is outside. He takes Plagg' s advice to go home and talk to his dad seriously so after spending one more night outside, he returns home to his father. He misses school once again and that doesn't go unnoticed by his friends who are worried about him. That's what they say to Marinette when she arrives at school. His best friend Nino ask Marinette what was she doing with Cat Noir aka Adrien in the top of that building ( watch part 2) where he was last seen. She escapes from the situation and transforms to find her lost partner. In that time Adrien is already home and talk to his dad who's trying to lure him to his side. They have a long conversation and despite his father's hints, Adrien doesn't really understand what does he mean. In the meantime Ladybug uses her Lucky charm to give her a clue where Adrien might be and it gives her a medallion with his mother's face... because he is there with his mom, cause Gabriel decides to show her to him and explain why he need the miraculouses.
