The lower arms look a little odd, but then if I was building something that small back when Bionicle was still about, that's probably the most creative I'd be able to get with it..
I do like the bulk of the upper legs, and the chrome parts.. I haven't seen those in a long time!
All grey/silver is a challenge, but it looks like you've pulled it off well with this Toa!

I know you have your own decision about not keeping Bionicle parts, but some MOCs like this one is really a piece of art. I really love this one, especially the silver mask. :)

i dont know what jang does but what i do is put the moc on a white ground near a white wall and i turn up the brightness when editing so it looks solid white

Near the end of the serial "Destiny War", Helryx and Keetongu find a pool of energized Protodermis and it's revealed to be alive. It communicates with them by making a body from the liquid. This is a lot like how I imagined that body to look like, minus the Hau mask. I envisioned it to be faceless.

Helryx was called "the first Toa" but she wasn't really the first Toa, she was created as a Toa, never a Matoran, thus earning the name First Toa. Love your MOC, that forearm design is really nice :D

instead of proto-toa you should call it protoa, sounds much more flowing I think
