A Tribute to Alex Trebek

Alex Trebek passed away on Sunday November 8th after a battle with Pancreatic Cancer. He fought hard, and we will miss him greatly.

I remember in 2003 i had hip surgery and Alex Trebek came to visit and he said get well soon and then in 2008 I told Alex Trebek that you're one of my favorite gameshow host of all time god bless you Alex Trebek rest in paradise

Great tribute! I only saw Alex in person once in my life. When my late parents and I were in Los Angeles, California in the summer of 1985, we took in a taping of Jeopardy! Three episodes were taped and there were so many technical difficulties that day that Alex was sort of getting frustrated, but he didn't show it while the show was going on. After the last show of the session was taped, Alex went to a table and threw papers in the air like he was relieved that the taping session was over. I've tried out for Jeopardy! many times, and now, of course, I'll never be on Jeopardy! with Alex on it, I know that when I do get on Jeopardy! eventually, I want all of my appearances be dedicated to Alex Trebek. Rest In Peace, Alex. You'll be missed. #WeLoveYouAlex

Wow!!! I knew that he would leave us eventually, but I was in tears as I was waiting for my Dad to drop by to see me and bring me something that I needed for my snack drawer! I was bawling!

That was a beautiful tribute to a great legend like Alex Trebek he is smiling from ear to ear to honor a wonderful game show host with the game shows he has hosted Alex has left some big shoes to fill in now that he is in heaven hanging out with Tom Kennedy and all the great game show hosts who are at peace and now he has wings to fly

As much as I adored him on Jeopardy!, I have to admit to enjoying him on Classic Concentration even more. He had such a quick wit & sense of humour which really came through on that show. He will be missed but never forgotten... ♡
