I really admire the fact that Nithin Kamat doesn’t mind to be on a competitor’s YouTube channel. That speaks volumes about the man ❤️

Mr Kamath was bang on point. It's not only about investing but also being more aware of everything happening around us.

It's very simple.. invest in stocks if you've got ample time in your hand. Invest in MF if you have a busy life.

What Radhika is saying is absolutely correct but only after the person has learnt enough from the stock market with years of experience.
I know many people, including my dad, who know NOTHING about stock market but still doing SIP since years. They don't even know the name of the fund they're investing in. It works because something is better than nothing but it's not the best way.
Thanks Radhika for bringing up the point. 👍👍
Lalit & Nitin bhai to apne hain hi.. 😅

Life is Short. There are risks everywhere..but it's prudent taking 'calculated' risks rather than being a passive invester. Spending productive time on knowing about stocks and earning / losing some money is infinitely better than relying on other ppl ( fund managers ) and making good money..what's the sense, what's your ' contribution ' ? Understanding a stock and then investing is No Risk, according to me.. it's like nurturing a child..u don't produce kids and leave them on their own..u need to monitor them, keep a close ' eye ' on them..
So go ahead with investing in stocks and then a bit of mutual funds also..that's my take..

Nithin just hit the nail on point, need to change that mindset..because Risk he toh Ishq he :)

simple way to decide .. if you have little money and cant risk it go for mutual fund ..and if you have surplus money saved and can take risk go for stock market .. its better to have 70-30 allocation in mf and stocks

The thing is most of the people who doesn't belong to the financial industry, doesn't get that much of a time for researching and buying stocks! So MFs are better option for them. So in my opinion we should do both! Invest in SIPs regularly but do check out stocks once in a while!
