Thanks for being one of the few that calls out this company. They flat out admitted to purposely over estimate prices yet media still gives them a pass and credibility.

I want to know why the “Zestimate” automatically goes up to the asking price when a home is listed. I sold my house a year ago and it was just listed by the buyer a month ago. The seller is asking $600k over what it sold a year ago. The “Zestimate” didn’t budge for a year after it sold but when the listing goes live the “Zestimate” skyrockets. Tell me how Zillow is to be trusted and how they can get away with his type of market manipulation.

Went to get a haircut today and the lady cutting my hair was a real estate agent. Asked the ladies there (to test them) what their opinion of the housing market was. As if on cue, they all yelled, "you can always refinance later!" The lady shoved some real estate app in front of me before even asking me to pay for the haircut. They were all so clueless, they even thought the labor market would continue and people could keep demanding any wage they want. Just proved to me we're at the top. I bet I'll be buying their foreclosures in a year or two.

The thing is, Zillow is going to pump so much sunshine into the market, and keep it so artificially inflated, that it's going to come down even harder.. They can prolong that downturn, but they're just contributing to its weight when it comes.

I’ve been watching houses on Zillow for a couple of months and I noticed that a lot of houses sit there for a long time and they reduce the price a little to get people to buy but the houses r still overpriced.

With inflation, recession and all the people that bought overpriced homes I expect the prices to go down.

My apartment just got flooded, but there is no other inventory for them to put me up in.

They're having to rent an Airbnb for me which is 4x's my actually rent just to get me a place to stay because hotels are even more expensive and don't have actual amenities that come with real living like a kitchen and laundry room.

Travis.... PLEASE do a video on the Midwest housing market. Ohio. Indiana Michigan. Please. I'm glad your looking in Texas and focus on the west coast and Florida, but you're missing out on an entire market that's waiting on your option when it comes to this side of the country.

48% increases in home values? Puhlease, I've seen as much as 150% increase.

I've seen 40 year old single wide trailers listed for $325 sqft.

I'm so glad I listened to you and held off on buying our first home. The home my wife and I were going to buy has dropped -16% since January of this year alone. 2026, 2027 will be the year to buy again. Once all the dust settles. Thank you, again!

People are still spending because we got so used to it over the last couple of years. Credit card debt is through the roof. Once unemployment goes up its so will defaults and recession will soon follow

Yes zillow is marketing that in my local housing market. But I will hold the line save and when I am ready I will go looking for a home in 3 to 5 years.

In my area, one of the many suburbs of Denver Metro. Zillow was buying the absolute worst houses for the absolute most obscene prices in 2021. These houses sat on the market forever in the craziest housing market it ever.
