Since very young, Gerda has had a strong interest towards gender equality. Her growing passion for the subject has lead her to co-found and be a board member of "The Case for Her", a philanthropic investment portfolio that addresses female sexual health and menstruation. Through The Case for Her, Gerda has made an impact in women's health and rights in Nepal, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Georgia, the US, Germany, and El Savador.

Currently, Gerda is the CEO of her recently founded Venture Capital firm, Curitas Venture where she is changing the male-dominated industry of venture capitalism.

Just as Gerda recommends: “My best advice to gain new knowledge and get other people’s thoughts is to just dare to call them up and ask to get to pick their brain over a lunch or a coffee.” This is your chance to pick up her brain and learn about entrepreneurship and investing on gender equality.
