Switchback (White & Amber) GM Silverado Sierra OEM Tow Mirror Light Install (2015 - 2019)

This video will show you how to install Boost Auto Parts switchback reflector lights into your OEM tow mirrors. These are drop in replacement switchback marker lights for the 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 OEM GM tow mirrors fitting Silverado and Sierra. These will illuminate as a white strip during running light mode, and flash as an amber strip during signal mode. They are offered with a smoked or clear lens, and the included wiring harness makes installation easy.

These lights operate as follows:

Signal (No Running Light): Flashing Amber Signal
Running Light (No Signal): Solid White Strip Light
Running Light On & Signal Activated: Solid white light turns off during signal and amber light flashes until signal is complete. After signal is complete, white light illuminates again
These replace the factory lights which are part numbers 23444105 and 23444106.

Do you have those lights with sequential turn signal, but only with amber color on driving lights.

i bought my 2018 used. it had towing mirrors installed by original owner at the dealership. how do I tell if I have oem mirrors or aftermarket before I start removing the glass. thanks

I installed some on a buddys truck, the turn signal works but will not switch to white led when signal turns off just turns off but when i unlock the truck it'll go yellow then switch to white, could it be that the t tap didn't pinch the wire enough to get power ?

i have a question so my tow mirrors don’t have the turn signal arrow in the mirror if i buy a mirror with the turn signal and put it on the tow mirror would it work ?

Just tried removing lower mirror and my thumb busted it, not sure why it doesn’t remove as easy as video. Still haven’t got it off, maybe some advice?
