I am disabled. I was also with my 66 year old aunt.

They were walking too fast after we got off the bus to look at the Empire State Building and the flat iron building. They all crossed, and before we could not, as the light changed, we had to stop at the crosswalk and they left us. We didn’t know which way they came went. My INSULIN was onboard the bus, and Rhonda (the tour guide) wasn’t answering her phone. We called dispatch and they told us to first take a taxi to the World Trade Center memorial. We did that, couldn’t find them or the bus. Then they wanted just to just meet them back at the winter garden theatre at 4:00 Pm! MY INSULIN, AND DRIVERS LICENSE WERE STILL ON THE BUS! So they had us take a taxi to the Staten Island Ferry terminal where the bus would pick us up. We finally hailed a taxi and as I was getting into the car, the back of my boot clipped onto the curb and I BROKE MY FOOT! That taxi ride cost $40. We got to the Staten Island Terminal, and it started to drizzle, and was so windy as we waited 20 minutes for the bus to finally show up. And he drove us back to where the tour was…back at the World Trade Center memorial! Why weren’t we told to just stay at the memorial at wait for them there?! And then we were asked if we ate? Uh, no! WE WERE TRYING TO CHASE THE TOUR AND BUS DOWN WHILE THEY ATE!

AND that boat ride was just getting on and off the friggin’ Staten Island Ferry. There was no getting close to the Statue of Liberty as “legally possible”, nor was there taking a “sail under the Brooklyn Bridge”

What a waste of time and money.

That is a thorough tour. The bus looks very comfortable too. I would probably fall asleep on it.

I will never use Viator again and I travel a lot. They refused to give me a refund for a tour which I wasn’t able to go on due to sickness of the person that was traveling with me. I let them know before the pickup time and they still offered no refund. This was during COVID times mind you. They actually encouraged me to still take the trip. We didn’t feel comfortable going on a tour with one of us vomiting, they however seem to think that is reasonable.
