I was sixteen when this was released. I was just a little kid in the 70’s so as far as I was concerned The Cult invented this ‘sound’ and it was completely new to me. Bare bones, raw sounding rock in 1987! No synths, no over the top reverbs and multitracks.
Producer Rick Rubin did a great job on this album along with the band members.
