Trailers following The Morecambe & Wise Christmas Show leading into the NEWS with Angela Rippon and Martin Bell. Frustratingly, not the entire programme was recorded.

Remember watching this when a young boy, a true end of an era in comedy; Morecambe and Wise's last show for the BBC, and the death of Charlie Chaplin on the same Xmas Day.

I was seven at the time and at junior school. Remember that era very well. A less complicated period with kids allowed to enjoy their formative years minus social media. Only three TV channels but ironically better quality!
