Saint Andrew Novena - Christmas Novena - Pray with Children

Advent always begins near the feast of St. Andrew.
A wonderful tradition is the St. Andrew Novena.

If it was prayed as a regular nine day novena it would end on the feast of the Immaculate Conception. Instead it is prayed for 25 days.

It is piously believed that whoever recites the St. Andrew Christmas Novena Prayer FIFTEEN times each day from the feast of St. Andrew (November 30th) until Christmas Eve will obtain the favor requested.

Thanks for Watching!!

Jesus said, ”Let the little children come unto Me.”

It would have been most appropriate to have various manger scenes as the background for each prayer. So nice to hear the voices of children praying. The novena reflects that most holy night, not the secular celebration, but the religious celebration of Christ's birth!

I’ve been doin this prayer for years now, & on my prayer card it says to say it frm the feast of St Andrew 30th Nov to Christmas, what I have been wondering for all these years is, does that mean till 8th Dec official start of Christmas & making this exactly 9 days which is normal for a novena, , Can anyone help me here as I’m not sure how long 2 day this prayer for & usually end up sayin it till Christmas Eve, , but that then doesn’t make it an novena . ???? Can anyone clarify, plez & thank you .
