The long drive from Vegas to Seattle during Covid-19 - RV Living

With Covid-19 in full swing, we make the long drive from Las Vegas to Seattle to stay with family and wait out the storm. We reflect on the irony of the route we take being the exact same route we avoided last Fall. We put in a long day making it all the way through Nevada, Idaho and most of Oregon on the first day, finishing up the drive on day two. It's an exhausting trip but we're thankful to carry all the comforts of home with us so we don't have to use public facilities during the pandemic. Once we reach our family's home in Washington, we clean and prepare the Airstream for prolonged storage and say our sad goodbye's to our shiny little home on wheels.

I do believe that moving your stuff from the trailer to a house, and vice-versa, can be stressful
at times. But it's a great way of checking each of our stuff from time to time and being able
to assess which ones are really essential, especially during a pandemic.

TJ continually impresses me with his sweet demeanor and quiet confidence. Loved his comment about 'not wishing anything bad on his neighbor.' Who does that or says that anymore? He is a keeper and a half!!

Blessed to have family that will not only take you in, but your pets also.

If anything good can come from these difficult times, is appreciating the little freedoms and pleasures we take for granted on a daily basis. This channel being one of them . Thanks for sharing

I like you guys and I’m glad I found your channel. I can see how much you love your adventurous life and it makes your channel that much more interesting. The move to your brothers house was a smart one during this time but a break from traveling may be a good thing so relax and enjoy. We are all in this together. I look forward to your videos!

Hello Brie, TJ & Fur Babies:
Thank you for the scenic video of your northbound travel to your temporary home. Parts of it were a little sad to watch. 😏
Looks like Jack feels better and the doggies seem as happy as ever! 🐱🐶
Sacramento County is still locked down until May 22. However, they are allowing medical appts to start up and opening up a bit more.
Too bad because the weather is gorgeous, mid 70s reaching to mid 90s by Friday. Our grandkids are very anxious to come over and swim in the pool. The oldest is now home from the hospital and is recovering from his brain surgery.
We hoping that you guys enjoy spending time with your family. Before you know it you'll be back on the road! Take care and try to keep your chin up!
Sending blessings to all of you! ☺️🌹🙏🌹

Thanks for the shots from the road. We just made the same trip a few days ago from AZ back to the Puget Sound even stopping at the same Loves in Ely. It was great reliving it through your video. Having taken all routes through Nevada, we actually prefer the vast nothingness. The drive up 93 and 318 has always been one of our favorites. Cheers!

I want to congratulate you on how much your videography and editing has improved in the past year. It's evident you guys are putting in real effort. Don't lose the momentum during this down time.
