I recently got a Prusa I3 MK3 3D printer and learned it's easy to print in 2 colors without any special equipment using PrusaSlicer. This slicer can be used with other printers as well so this technique will work on other printers using the free PrusaSlicer.

This is the exact concept I just rationalized and came to YT to see if anyone else had already.
I'm not using a Prusa but I think I can accomplish a similar task in Cura.

Thanks for the video! One request, get a camera mount, a lot of the time, I was like “I want to see the print head” and the camera was pointing all around the room and at the spools. Lol. Minor request but I am really new to 3D printing and this was a simple and perfect tutorial on how to print on 2 colors. Would it work the same way with the Mini? (I know it’s Bowden not direct drive, but not sure if that matters)

I did all of that. I went to bed expecting to wake up to the printer prompting me for the filament change but apparently my Klipper printer ignored the change filament G code? The part was printed in a single color.

not sure why but when I split my model in this way my printer doesnt pause to allow a fillament change at that layer, it just prints the whole thing (Sovol SV07), an ideas?

I did everything as in the video but it printed all is one color. It did not stop for fillament change. I have a voxalab aquila printer.
